Graham Lefford has worked in service and management for 38 years, 27 of them in UHNW(Ultra high net worth) private homes as a Butler and House Manager. The first eleven years of his career was spent in top restaurants and hotels. He got his first job as a Butler almost by chance in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This first HNW (high net worth) family position was a formal home with a large staff working under a Major Domo. It was here that he learned the intricacies of working in a private home, furniture, art and supervising the trades as they worked inside the house and on the grounds. After about four years the Major Domo left, and Graham was left to help run the home. After a little more than seven years in that first job, he moved to New York City for a Butler/Housemanager position. It has been a whirlwind for him ever since!

Graham has had the privilege to manage and run some of the most incredible estates and homes in the country and has served families of every style. The knowledge and experience he has gained through these experiences put him firmly in the top tier of this industry and today he is bringing that expertise to staff training and other projects as a consultant basis to the world’s most prosperous families and service businesses through his company, The Wolf Service (http://www.thewolf-service.com/).

Sterling Academy is proud to have Graham not only as an advisor in this offering but as our onboarding consultant to educate our training families on ways they can get the most out of their apprentice year experience.
